So often, when you’re an actor starting out, you don’t know where to start or who to go to. You learn the craft but know nothing of the business. I thought just talent will get me through the doors, but the business in Show Business was also important, and Bonnie Gillespie wrote about it. I borrowed it from the library and I now want to buy a copy for myself and recommend it to other actors who’re scratching their heads about which road to go down. So many people have fantasizes about being an actor and don’t realized what’s put into a career and how serious it is. I learn some valuable things about how to market myself, but now it’s up to me to do something about them.
