There’s lots of fun to be had in this movie. It’s not quite a classic, but there are lots of laughs.

watched it with the smallfry, and while he lost interest fairly quickly, i found it to be okeydokey. maybe it’s simply because i really would like to have a fish that walked about in a helmet?

I thought this was a cute, fun take on an old story. It’s not the best kids’ movie ever, but it’s fun.

Fish Out of Water is an outstanding character in this film. Never speaks, yet steals the show.
I got tickled with the human interaction, closure, bit in this. And I loved the “realistic” movie made of the story in the end. And I loved the flawed characters. Too many chase scenes for my non-action taste, but geez, what do people want, great literature out of every animation?

I had high hopes for this one, because it’s one of my favourite children’s stories. But I was disappointed. Not very funny, not all that interesting, not good enough!

i should say that i “tried” to consume this. After about half an hour i gave up. Even with the voice talents of several actors that i like this could not hold my interest and didn’t seem to be going anywhere. i already know the ending, so maybe that didn’t help, but it felt like they were trying to rip of Pixar and were failing at it badly.
