Its strength is also its weakness — 3 years ago
It opens wisely enough with their most well-known hit, party perennial “Wooly Bully”. From there come many many great frat rock tunes. The only problem is that they sound like long-lost great songs when heard by themselves, but in the context of the album (meaning after following “Wooly Bully”) it becomes apparent that Sam and company reused the basic music of “Wooly” over..and over(“Ju Ju Hand”)...and over…and over..and, well you get the picture. As such, I can’t call it more than an average listen despite some other gems like “Little Red Riding Hood” and “(I’m in with) The Out Crowd”.
In the end, I’d probably say 3 1/2 stars for this.
