It’s a very touching movie that makes you both laugh and cry. Philippe Noiret is amazing and it’s a good movie to watch if you think you don’t like “European” movies but would like to try. Weirdly, it felt much older than 1988-89, maybe because the picture wasn’t as restored as it could have been. Also, this specific DVD doesn’t have a single bonus feature, which is a rather big disappointment. But anyway, the movie in itself is very good :)
