welp. i just dont know what to say about this movie. it went back and forth from being really cool to really lame. overall, i guess its worth a watch. some really good visuals, good ideas. i’ll watch daywatch now, so i guess its that successful. but not with my girlfriend. so its that unsuccessful.

on thing i will say though: if vampires were gonna exist anywhere on earth, it’d totally be in russia. blecch.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this; I’m putting it on so I can screen Day Watch and find out what the fuss is. The funny thing is, I snagged this right away as soon as it hit the boards (sooner than it hit theatre circulation), watched it carefully …and then nothing. Thus this morning’s viewing.

eta. 30 minutes of chaotic fun is about all I can handle.
