A story about this — 3 years ago
I love Tyler Perry! though this play didn’t have him in it until the end with the intros, the play had a great message; Be grateful for what you got at home cause the grass is not greener as you think; Some friends meet at a mountain retreat to heal themselves, their marriages; one marriage is clearly in trouble; the wife is overweight; the husband is disinterested; and then the wife clueless unwittingly invites her “best friend” along(who is unknown to her messing with the husband); things start out right but as the story goes you motice little things, such as the wayward hubby making his wife bring in the luggage; catering to the wife’s “best friend”; and eventually breaking her heart by ditchiing her in front of the others; the wife cries and attempts to shoot them; they divorce, and the next year comes and the hubby comes with the new wife(former best friend)who shows no loyalty and treats the hubby as a endless cash cow and giving him nothing but distress; then he asks the friends there whether or not they heard from the ex wife he treated so badly; (imagine that).imagine when the single friend of the couples come in with his new wife who is…the neglected ex wife of the hubby!! with a new attitude, a weight loss and looking beautiful! very interesting.
