WORTH CONSUMING!

An artist with a song on the soundtrack for The Devil Wears Prada is not the kind of woman I would expect to have in my CD library, but KT Tunstall isn’t a bubblegum pop artist: she’s got an impressive repertoire, and chops to match. I picked this up for my fiancée because it’s the kind of thing she likes, but I’m listening to it more often than her. Tunstall’s voice is strong and beautiful, and her songwriting is even better. The music is hummable and easy to like, and there are times that it reaches “amazing” status. A pleasant surprise.

Notable Tracks: Black Horse And The Cherry Tree; False Alarm; Heal Over

WORTH CONSUMING!

I bought this CD on the basis of one song – “Suddenly I See” – which is the intro music in The Devil Wears Prada. I’ve listened to the entire CD a couple of times, and I really like it. KT Tunstall has a lovely, strong voice, and these songs make for great listening, and for great background music. As I get older I find myself gravitating towards alternative country and folk – this is a great example of what’s out there.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought I had only heard Suddenly I See from this album, but in fact I heard Black Horse and Cherry Tree in cycling class

WORTH CONSUMING!

KT Tunstall is a very talented chick. I heard “Black Horse and a Cherry Tree” on the radio, and I was intrigued by her voice immediately. I have not stopped listening to the CD since I bought it. Get it—you won’t be disappointed.

Why I want to consume this — 3 years ago

..this is one of the most BRILLIANT albums to come out in a long, long time. i typically end up being disappointed in albums when i hear one song that i really like. however, after listening to the entire thing twice in a row, i adore the record and will be obsessively listening to it for awhile.
