Oh, to have all those years back, when I had older people to share their wisdom with me. I was foolish to shine on all that good advice when I thought that I knew everything already. My gramma used to remind me that I wouldn’t be a bigger person by belittling somebody else. I wonder how many other gems like that I have forgotten. Now I’m edging to that point where I’m the older, wiser, person. Thankfully no young person is hanging around looking for any pearls from me because I didn’t gather them when I should have.
