I prefer The Little Prince. For some reason The Alchemist gave me nightmares. Perhaps because my heart has stopped talking to me about my Personal Legend…

One of the best books I’ve read in my life… very inspirational!
this is his only really good book. everything since sucked like soap operas. (ps maybe except veronica?)
It really makes you think about the decisions you make in your life.
This book has made me wonder about the life I lead and has inspired me to really really “live”!
I thought the story was interesting and had an almost child-like quality to it. But it really makes you comtemplate your own life and the choices you make.
This book was amazing. A boy named Santiago has a dream that there is more to life, so he searches for his Personal Legend. It makes you think about how willing you are to find happiness.
This is one of those ‘iceberg’ books, you can read it quite happily as a novel, but keep looking under the surface and there are messages that go just as deep as you want them to go…can be read, or can be absorbed. Fabulous.
Very thought-provoking book. Great story as well even without digging further into the undertones. This book really makes me think about the decisions we all make and why and how those small decisions affect the trajectory of our lives. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed it!
WOW!! I really have no words! The book is just AMAZING! It tought me so much and I think that if every person in the world will read the book, the world will become a better place!! I think the book has so much wisdom! :)
This is an extraordinarily well-written novel dealing with the nature of wisdom and our place in the universe. A young Shepard is spurred to find his treasure, traveling across the desert and back to reveal what his Personal Legend really was. Its level of insight puts it on par with The Five People You Meet in Heaven or The Giver. Highly recommended!
