This may be a superficial omplaint, but Cleaver’s hip 60s lingo began to sound pretty dated after a few essays. He wrote some thought-provoking stuff. A lot of it (his homophobia, the sexist attitudes) I really can’t agree with, but this is definitely a book I’d read again, carefully and thoughtfully.
