WORTH CONSUMING!

Where to start? This is such an amazing album! I love it so much! I can not be objective! Regina is awesome! Buy it!

Seriously, I really like it. I listened to it non-stop for like two weeks. I discovered Regina this summer when my brother was obsessed by her and we listened to her in the car while travelling in the South of France. So I bought it off amazon and was really happy to relive these memories on my first listen.

It’s not really a “sunny summer in France” album though, I think it fits more with this really great snowy winter we’re having. It’s weird, I think of this album as having two seperate parts: there are the upbeat “happy” songs, like Fidelity and On the Radio and Hotel Song that I enjoy walking in the cold to, or dancing in front of the mirror to. Then there’s the quiet part, great for studying or dozing off, with Samson (which is really my most ultimate favorite) and Lady and 20 years of snow. It’s like an all-task album. How great!

I look forward to hearing more of Regina! I asked for Soviet Kitsch at Christmas, perhaps I’ll get lucky :D

Regina is so original! No one else is like her. She’s a great storyteller in her songs and can really tap into people’s joys and hurts. I’d take a point off for needless cursing, but all in all, great stuff. 4/5
