Whereas Scary Movie was funny, Date Movie is not. It tried to capitalize on the same kind of parodies of bigger budget movies, but it does so in such an unfunny way that it’s almost cringe-worthy to sit through. I mean… seriously, who came up with this? It’s horrible.

Good for a laugh or two, but just avoid paying money for it at all costs. You’ll be sorry otherwise.

this was a waste of my time. it took me to the very end to realize julia jones was a parady of bridget jones. boy am i slow!

Not great but some of the paradies were funny.
