WORTH CONSUMING!
I thought this was a much better read than Justine. Justine had already laid the foundation of the characters, but Durrell spent much less time philosophizing in this novel than in its predecessor, and the plot was much more interesting. I’m really getting into his technique of revealing layers of the story versus the way an ordinary sequel is usually written. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.
