How totally cool a subject. Yay! I love grammar! I love his style. This book, more than any other lingusitics, grammar, style, or composition book I have read, has finally swayed me from the prescriptive school to the descriptive school. I have new respect for double negatives, placeholders and reflexive pronouns. This turned out to be a more engaging, deft book than I expected and I can’t wait to pass it on.
