Being a dual history/philosophy major, i enjoy reading selections that come from both those subjects, and this was one of them. I had watched the mini-series, and read another book by the author before I reticently picked this one up. I enjoyed this book, not only for it’s historical aspect, but also to be able to go more in depth than the show.
