WORTH CONSUMING!

An altogether very different approach to science fiction, which I found quite refreshing. The first part, Justine, seems to be a portrait of a dysfunctional family and a bride’s gradual descent into schizophrenia, but the second part, Claire, reveals there’s a lot more going on, namely a massive rouge planet about to collide with the Earth. How does one deal with such knowledge? I especially liked the science behind the situation, which was very true to what little we know about massive cosmic events. Dunst got Best Actress at Cannes 2011 for this performance – well deserved.
