Not my cuppa, I’m afraid. The situation is novel – an American-British couple who can’t be together due to immigration laws. How they deal with separation is given short shrift, however, as the pacing of the film is rushed, packing month after month of adulterous acts into short sequences. I can’t quite say its not worth watching, but it certainly was not the insightful expose of cross-the-pond relationships I was looking for.
