WORTH CONSUMING!
I enjoyed the time “out of joint” in this. The film begs the question, “Was the past REALLY so much better than the present?” And which past was best? The juxtaposition of so many great creative talents, from Fitzgerald to Hemingway to Picasso and Stein and Lautrec, Matisse, Degas, Eliot, Dali and more is purely Woody Allen’s fertile mind at work. Thank goodness Owen Wilson manages to hold it all together. Good fun from start to whimsical finish.
