A remake of an old American film, but more subtle even though it’s very ham-fisted. Contains few nuances, but the photo is beautiful, as is the black and contrast of the picture. The lead rôle is very well-played, at least for the first half of the film; after that, the script gets tiresome, and yes, the ending is predictable.
