Terrific, dark, brooding mood and terrific period theme! Acting was all-around great as one would expect from a cast of this caliber. I was particularly surprised by Hugh Jackman and David Bowie. Unfortunately, the plot’s turn towards the fantastical was hard to swallow and the twists at the end were telegraphed a bit early, taking most of the punch away from the ending.
