This rivalry between two magicians is full of sleight of hand, and sleight of mind. A stellar cast helps, too. I absolutely didn’t recognize David Bowie in the role as Tesla. Caine, Jackman, Bale and Johansson play so well together. The top hats were a wonderful touch, too, as the audience is invited to guess who’s tricking whom and how. Well worth watching.
