This was very difficult to watch. Rourke’s acting is natural, top-notch and so effective, that you don’t think for a second that he isn’t his character. The Wrestler might make you reassess your relationship with your Dad, or if you’re a Dad, your relationship with your children. This isn’t lighthearted viewing.
