October 2004 – Listened to this on CD from the library. It’s pretty slow-paced but not boring. It is the story of what might be a typical “detective mystery” but it’s told after the fact and the past is interwoven with the present. That makes it less driven by the drama and shock value that fill many mysteries. It was an interesting idea but not terribly engaging.
