August 2004 – I really enjoyed this book. It was the first Anita Shreve book I’ve read and I am now planning to read more of her stuff. I don’t know that it is great literature or anything, but I found it to be an engrossing novel and I liked the character development (at least of the two primary characters, I suppose some of the others were not too fleshed out. Anyway, I thought it was good. :-)
