Whoa… this is good. Really good. Sleigh Bells prove to be completely deserving of all the recent hype by hitting it out of the park with this, their debut album. I’ve been really digging the track “Tell ’Em” ever since it was released in April and I’m happy to say that the rest of the album def. lives up to the strength of that tune. The best description of their sound I can come up with at the moment: hardcore, dirty beats + crunchy, loud guitar + distorted bass + sweet female vocals. Trust me, it WORKS.
