All Consuming

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

. . . except it’s a book. I am a knitter and love all things knit related (for the most part) but this book was pretty terrible. The dynamics of the inter-racial relationship between Georgia and her baby’s daddy was contrived and the character development of all the knitters in the group were stereotyped (nerdy academic named DARWIN?? check. out of work/under-employed film producer? check. Aspiring fashion designer? check.)

I really wanted to like this book but it just didn’t happen. But, knowing me, I’ll try watching the movie (when it comes out on DVD).
