This was a great series! I held off on watching it for ages because I truthfully didn’t think I’d like it. I’m not a huge SciFi/space tale fan, so I figured I’d find this one boring. Then I watched Nathan Fillion on “Castle” and decided I needed to check it out (that and a little bit of urging from my fiance).

I loved it. The characters are great, and all are likeable in their own way (even Jayne has his moments and he was the hardest to “get along with.” The only disappointment is that there was never a second season. I still have to watch “Serenity,” and I’ve heard that clears a few things up, but still, I think “Firefly” and I could have definitely had a long term affair if it had been given the chance to find it’s feet.
