I’ve always wondered what the line “So long, and thanks for the fish” meant.

I didn’t know that this was a kids’ book! Also, I just realized that I’m reading a book that’s thirty years old (actually I have the 30th anniversary edition) and that I’m kinda “late for the party” so to speak—but what the hey, I’m having fun reading it anyway.
