My first Agatha Christie novel and I’m a bit disappointed. It’s a bit of a boring read and I feel it’s cut a little too short. Everything kind of happens in the last few pages and is slightly confusing. Miss Marple plays a small part in this book and an apparently rather dumb chief of police solves what ends up being a complex scheme.

So yeah, I wasn’t too impressed, but I won’t let it deter me from reading any of her other novels.
