For whatever reason, I didn’t entirely fancy this when it first came out. However, recuperating on a sofa does widen your horizons and this turned out to be a lot of fun!

As ever, recommended less for the main characters/plotline, and far far more for the brilliant little in-jokes (Aardman-animated, Hugh Jackman-voiced Roddy picking from a wardrobe that include both Wallace’s usual outfit, and a yellow/black Wolverine costume!) and fabulous secondary characters: the slug chorus (“Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”) and ninja-like frog squad in particular :)

Eeeeeeeeee, but I loved those slugs :)
