There is a scene in which the leader is leading another man with flashlights(perhaps his son?) past piles of dead bodies and he tells the younger man “someday this will all be yours.”
I think of GHW Bush telling this to his son in reference to Iraq.
There’s a great cameo by Kurt Vonnegut.
