I’ve not actually read this (eek) but on the strength of this novel I read Ishiguro’s “Never Let Me Go.”
Sadly disappointing: a one dimensional way of telling a “one surprise (!) shock horror” novel, which is so pretentious it even pretends not to be SF.
I won’t be reading any more of his books.
