Despite its “Idiot’s” moniker, this was a dense book on music theory. The most useful chapters for me were chapters 9 and 10 on chords. I finally understand the chord naming convention. (I knew there was one, but it’s entirely non-obvious if your reference point is the guitar fret board.)
