I’d heard a little DC before (Vindicated), but I hadn’t heard any of the songs on this album previously. Though I didn’t fall in love with it, it’s definitely worth a listen. Standout tracks for me include #2 (Thick As Thieves), #6 (The Shade of Poison Trees), #11 (Clean Breaks) and #12 (The Widows Peak). Clean Breaks has a haunting, repetitive melody that will stay in your head for days.
