I am reading the book right now and that’s pretty much on par with the movie as being poorly done. Yet it’s not really hurting anyone, except maybe kids who think this is how relationships are – over protective, obsessive, obtrusive, all consuming – they will end up in some bad situations… so it maybe hurting some people.
