A story about this — 6 years ago
When I first started this book, I could not get into it. The author writes “differently” by the fact she sometimes has serious RUN-ON sentences. However, the story was interesting. I’d never think a woman could write about so much masculine behavior. It had serious parts too, which include, teenage pregnancy, incest, war, death, and abortion. Toward the end, I could appreciate the author’s writing style, as opposed to the time I first picked up the book.
