The boyfriend thought it was so bad he needs to inflict it on someone else. ;) I thought it was pretty entertaining as mockumentaries go—the point seems to be that there’s lots of stupid going on, and it does stupid pretty well…

Wanted to smack the endless “making the first record” bit in the middle of the movie, but I think that was also the point. ;) Probably more entertaining than some serious documentaries on real bands, as this at least knows it’s idiotic.
