Weird season. Generally not very good, but with some amazing episodes in it (mostly when they have nothing to do with the “main plot”). Losing Angel and especially replacing him with Riley was hard, luckily Spike was there to maintain the goodness. Oz’s departure was also a very sad moment, though I did like Tara. I remember generally crying a lot at the beginnig of the season!

The whole Initiative plot really sucked and Adam was the worst villain ever. (Wow, that’s pretty harsh. But it’s the truth!) I did like the college setting though, and the Buffy&Willow living together (but I missed Joyce!). The whole season felt like filler for the nicer episodes (Wild at Heart, Something Blue, Hush, This Year’s Girl/Who Are You, Superstar and Restless). So actually it’s not the season that’s so bad, just the episode who focus on the main story arc.

I don’t remember the bonuses being particularly interesting, though it was nice to have Seth Green on one commentary and I also really liked Doug Petrie’s one on The Initiative (against all odds!). The featurettes on Spike and the music were also interesting.
