This is the second book in the Tories O’Shea mystery series. In this story, small-town Missouri genealogist Torie O’Shea investigates the suspicious death of town resident Marie Dijon. Marie was found dead at the foot of her stairs, but the police are beginning to wonder if her death was really an accident. Along the way, Torie find a package of mysterious letters in French hidden in Marie’s house. I really enjoyed the mystery and the mix with French history.
