WORTH CONSUMING!
This is surely one of the best books I’ve read in several years. The fact-based story, though it is history now, is being repeated througout Africa every year. The characters are compelling and brilliantly depicted, and the ending, a surprise, is absolutely perfect!

Couldn't Agree More
I stumbled upon this book quite unexpectedly and was completely absorbed by the first chapter.
What a jewel.

I see you’ve also read “Purple Hibiscus.” How does it compare?

It was compelling, too . . . I liked “Half” because the multiple story lines were woven together so deftly with historical events . . .
“Hibiscus” is more of a focused psychological drama . . . extremely well-written, too, though. Probably a matter of personal preference which is better :)

Our Biblioteca Publica has Purple Hibiscus too. I will definitely check it out. Thanks. —Gerry
