One of the reasons I watched this movie in the first place was the obvious originality of it, plot-wise. Juno isn’t the kind of girl you would expect to see get pregnant so young, and it’s refreshing to see a more realistic spin on the old ‘pregnant teen’ story. Although after a while, the ‘originality’ of it started to kind of rub at me the wrong way. It’s almost like Juno is too quirky. It wasn’t enough to keep me from enjoying the movie, just something that stuck out to me.

I’d reccomend this movie overall. It’s funny, it’s engaging, and it’s definitely memorable. Young girls, this is a great movie to watch with your parents! I saw Juno with my mother, and as we left the theater she kept remarking about how accepting and ‘cool’ Juno’s parents were. Great soundtrack as well.
