A story about this — 1 year ago
I’m not an acolyte of M. Moore, but I have lived without health insurance and this movie certainly hits home and makes me angry and sad. I have no idea what is wrong with our country! When others in the world find it common sense (and common decency) to care for everyone even the less fortunate, because they expect they’d be treated with the same benefit of the doubt if they were in that position; we continue to operate with greed that serves the few, reviling the less fortunate around us for “just not being deserving”. There are a lot of reasons I feel lucky to have been born an American, but this issue is not a bright spot for our country.
