couldn’t get into it. one of the most horrible battle systems i’ve ever seen implemented in a game (i can’t see my health meter on the main screen!?). rather tedious, even for a person who enjoys a genre that mainly just sends you around a map to collect things.

i hung in for about half of it, trying to perservere, but the story became stagnant (as in i wasn’t sure if i was really getting any story or just a bunch of ‘unsettling’ scenes of kids being bad).

the style was unique and admirable, i enjoyed the music and overall mood of the game…but it just wasn’t that scary for me.

sold it so that i could buy fatal frame III, now there’s some chilling game play!
