this is absolutely worth consuming. it’s a beautiful love story. i was delighted throughout. the scenery was gorgeous. the costumes were wonderful. the woman beautiful, and yes macfadyen is no firth but he was marvelous. i have not read the novel so was completely unaware of what was going to happen. watching this, at first, i did not like mr. darcy. i felt he was arrogant and proud. i could not understand how everyone wanted their own mr. darcy only to fall madly in love with him by the end. it reminds me of a time where manners,(a thing i love), were so important. the love story is lovely but i was more intrigued by the relationships within the family, especially with all the sisters. to me, the family dynamic was the most enjoyable. it was magical, i wanted to disappear into this fairy tale.
