I remember being about seven or eight and trying one of these for the very first time: and getting a defective one with just one layer! I was very surprised when the second attempt came with more than just nougat… although all of a sudden the name made much more sense!

Fast forward two decad… ow! ... and Double Deckers have always since combined soft nougat and a crunchy chocolately layer. Something a bit different appeals from time to time!
