“The Abstinence Teacher” follows the stories of 2 people – a divorced high school sex ed teacher and a recovering drug addict musician born again Christian soccer coach. Both their daughters play on the soccer team. He spontaneously leads the team in prayer and she overreacts which is how they meet.

The characters were interesting and Perrotta tells a good story.

But the stoyr just sort of petered out and ended. So we have all this sex & religion & family & relationships & work issues but no resolution.
