ok, add some American stereotypes: a radio broadcasting football news, golf, Shrek, car race,
add some tearjerking apocalyptic scenes: a kid crying, the president making a statement, the evacuation
add some CGI and Will Smith, mix these ingredients and you get a movie for average Joe.
All is plain clear: we have the good guy, some virus gets loose and some men are transformed in zombies. No need for much intrigue or existential questions.
Also some things don’t make sense and i give 3 examples: why the cure for cancer will be announced as…just another news? why the zombies don’t attack when he’s injured and crawling, instead they unleash the dogs? what makes HIS blood so special that cures the virus?
