Say what you will about Quentin Tarantino, but it’s refreshing how willing he is to push the boundaries of film making. He may not always be successful, but at least he’s not churning out Hollywood crap like Michael Bay. That being said, Death Proof feels a bit obvious. There are a few stretches where the movie drags (because of the conversation), but the ending is exhilarating and the soundtrack is superb!
