I still don’t know, and therefore I am tempted to say ‘no’, shallow beast that I am. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that everyone is plotting against each other and no good while come of it. And I think I’m missing some of the cultural hints needed to pick up on the subtler stuff. But the climax at the end is certainly awe-inspiring and worthy of the big screen.
