My favorite part of this book is the story about the bat and how night and darkness came to be. When I read it, I had already gotten a beautiful blue sun and moon tattooed on each of my shoulder blades. Now whenever anyone asks me about my tattoos I tell this little story – they don’t have to know I didn’t know the story when I got the art done ; )
